Software Engineer - web applications (Jacksonville, FL)

Redstone Loom Medical Group builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Jacksonville. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on web applications. Documentation is part of the craft. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about regulatory submissions into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with regulatory submissions. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Jacksonville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
