Software Engineer - web applications (Jackson, MS)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Timber Pharma and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be web applications. People move between science and operations roles. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about quality documentation into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with quality documentation. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
