Software Engineer - web applications (Houston, TX)

Harborlight Pike Medical is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on web applications for regulatory submissions, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 168 people based in Houston. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about regulatory submissions into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with regulatory submissions. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
