Software Engineer - web applications (El Paso, TX)

Redstone Ivory Facilities Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on web applications for contractor visits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about contractor visits into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with contractor visits. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in El Paso. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
