Software Engineer - web applications (Des Moines, IA)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Linden Health and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be web applications. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about patient education into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with patient education. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
