Software Engineer - web applications (Des Moines, IA)

Greenridge Corner Early Learning is an early-learning provider in Des Moines. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on web applications. We celebrate small wins and steady routines. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about licensing records into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with licensing records. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
