Software Engineer - web applications (Des Moines, IA)

Highbridge Health Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on web applications for electronic records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about electronic records into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with electronic records. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
