Software Engineer - web applications (Columbus, OH)

We are growing our team at Redstone Union Legal Group and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be web applications. You would join a large organisation of about 869 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about court deadlines into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with court deadlines. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
