Software Engineer - web applications (Cleveland, OH)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Wren Legal Group and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be web applications. You would join a small organisation of about 194 people based in Cleveland. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about billing records into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with billing records. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Cleveland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
