Software Engineer - web applications (Cincinnati, OH)

Lumen Ridge Medical Group builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Cincinnati. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on web applications. You would join a small organisation of about 174 people based in Cincinnati. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about device records into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with device records. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Cincinnati, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
