Software Engineer - web applications (Charlotte, NC)

Ironwood Amber Medical designs and makes medical devices in Charlotte, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our web applications. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about complaint handling into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with complaint handling. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Charlotte. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
