Software Engineer - web applications (Charleston, SC)

Redstone Meridian Legal Group is a Charleston practice with attorneys, paralegals and client-service staff, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our web applications. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about intake forms into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with intake forms. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
