Software Engineer - web applications (Boston, MA)

Summit Ridge Learning Group is an education provider in Boston serving students and families. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on web applications. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about learning materials into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with learning materials. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Boston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
