Software Engineer - web applications (Baltimore, MD)

Summit Amber Community Partners is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on web applications for client intake, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 76 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about client intake into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with client intake. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Baltimore. • We reply to every applicant.
