Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Wichita, KS)

Cedar Thistle Pharma is a pharmaceutical company in Wichita producing generic and specialty treatments. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. Quality is everyone's job here, not a department. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with release testing. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Wichita, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
