Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Wichita, KS)

Stonegate Amber Medical is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for training materials, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 256 people based in Wichita. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with training materials. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Wichita. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
