Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Wichita, KS)

Highbridge Legal Group is a law firm in Wichita serving businesses and individuals, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our reliability and monitoring. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about billing records into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with billing records. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Wichita, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
