Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Wichita, KS)

We are growing our team at Northwind Cedar Legal Group Partners and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be reliability and monitoring. We are a close group and share the work. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with intake forms. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Wichita, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
