Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Wichita, KS)

Cedar Union Health is a healthcare provider in Wichita with clinics and support teams. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. Clinicians and administrators work side by side. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about referrals into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with referrals. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Wichita. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
