Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Virginia Beach, VA)

Summit Union Health Group is a healthcare provider in Virginia Beach with clinics and support teams, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our reliability and monitoring. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with patient scheduling. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
