Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Toledo, OH)

Summit River Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around Toledo. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Toledo. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about premium billing into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with premium billing. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Toledo. • We reply to every applicant.
