Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Tampa, FL)

Northwind Granite Financial is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for customer onboarding, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Career paths are clear. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with customer onboarding. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Tampa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
