Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Tampa, FL)

Rivermark Granite Water Authority Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for water quality, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about water quality into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with water quality. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Tampa, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
