Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (St. Louis, MO)

Rivermark Willow Insurance is an insurance company in St. Louis with claims and service teams. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about customer complaints into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with customer complaints. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in St. Louis. • We reply to every applicant.
