Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (St. Louis, MO)

Greenridge West Telecom Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for billing accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Turn requests about billing accounts into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in St. Louis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
