Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (St. Louis, MO)

Highbridge Legal Group is a St. Louis practice with attorneys, paralegals and client-service staff. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with court deadlines. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in St. Louis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
