Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (St. Louis, MO)

Redstone Meridian Telecom is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for customer tickets, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about customer tickets into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with customer tickets. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in St. Louis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
