Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (St. Louis, MO)

Silverline Rowan Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around St. Louis. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in St. Louis. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with certifications. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in St. Louis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
