Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (St. Louis, MO)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Fox Early Learning and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be reliability and monitoring. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in St. Louis. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about meal programmes into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with meal programmes. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in St. Louis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
