Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Spokane, WA)

Cedar Loom Insurance Group is an insurance company in Spokane with claims and service teams. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about claims into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Spokane. • We reply to every applicant.
