Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Spokane, WA)

Bluepeak Amber Medical Associates designs and makes medical devices in Spokane. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about training materials into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with training materials. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Spokane. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
