Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Seattle, WA)

Rivermark Granite Water Authority Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for treatment plant data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about treatment plant data into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with treatment plant data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Seattle. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
