Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Savannah, GA)

Bright Clear Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Savannah. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with licensing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Savannah, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
