Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (San Diego, CA)

Stonegate Ivory Transit Planning Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for accessibility audits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about accessibility audits into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with accessibility audits. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
