Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (San Diego, CA)

Highbridge Quarry Telecom is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for service installations, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about service installations into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with service installations. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
