Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (San Diego, CA)

Stonegate Clear Transit Planning Partners is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for fare systems, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 199 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about fare systems into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with fare systems. • Cloud deployment experience.
