Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (San Antonio, TX)

We are growing our team at Silverline Amber Water Authority and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be reliability and monitoring. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about billing accounts into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in San Antonio, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
