Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (San Antonio, TX)

Harborlight Granite Pharma is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for release testing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 21 people based in San Antonio. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about release testing into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with release testing. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Antonio. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
