Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Sacramento, CA)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Wilder Medical and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be reliability and monitoring. Patient safety shapes every decision. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about device records into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with device records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
