Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Rochester, NY)

Stonegate Forge Care Services supports families and individuals in Rochester with personal care and coordination. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. You would join a small organisation of about 40 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about caregiver training into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with caregiver training. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
