Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Richmond, VA)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Loom Medical and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be reliability and monitoring. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Turn requests about production lots into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with production lots. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Richmond. • We reply to every applicant.
