Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Rivermark Basin Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Tulsa region. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Turn requests about hardship programmes into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with hardship programmes. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Tulsa. • We reply to every applicant.
