Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Foxglove Nest Financial Group is a financial-services company in Charleston. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. You would join a small organisation of about 23 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about customer onboarding into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with customer onboarding. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Charleston. • We reply to every applicant.
