Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Ironwood Wilder Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Sacramento. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about regulatory submissions into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with regulatory submissions. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
