Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Clearpath Pike Pharma is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for clinical studies, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Turn requests about clinical studies into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with clinical studies. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in San Antonio. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
