Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

We are growing our team at Redstone Sparrow Transit Planning Group and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be reliability and monitoring. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about accessibility audits into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with accessibility audits. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Tampa. • We reply to every applicant.
