Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Foxglove Pine Pharma supports drug development and manufacturing around Grand Rapids. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. You would join a large organisation of about 724 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about clinical studies into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with clinical studies. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
