Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Lumen Basin Health is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for clinic supplies, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Continuing education is supported. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about clinic supplies into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with clinic supplies. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in San Antonio. • We reply to every applicant.
