Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Clearpath Timber Medical designs and makes medical devices in Charleston, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our reliability and monitoring. You would join a small organisation of about 37 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about device records into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with device records. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Charleston. • We reply to every applicant.
