Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (remote)

Highbridge Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Cleveland area, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our reliability and monitoring. We invest in training. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about field visits into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with field visits. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Cleveland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
